Rotary Clubs across the district are joining forces to stage the Yorkshire Rotary Accessible Games. The Games are to be held on Sunday 27th October 2024 from 9am, at Woodhouse Grove School, Apperley Bridge, BD10 0PQ. This event is free for young people aged 12 to 16 and adults 16+
We are not looking for paralympians, the aim is for people to come along, participate, try something new and have fun. The venue and games are all accessible for those with a disability, visible or not.
We are looking for clubs to bring any number of people with them or come as an individual, we will be delighted to see you all. You can choose 3 of the activities to have a go at and if applicable also the wheelchair races. Activities on offer are Swimming, Archery, Bocha (like bowls), New Age Kurling, Table Tennis, Darts and the Wheelchair Races. Of course bring along cheer leaders, friends and family for a great day out.
